Tottenham set to complete transfer deal with Championship outfit

Luke Amos is set to leave Tottenham and join QPR in a permanent move after his successful stint on loan with the Hoops in the just-concluded season, reports TalkSport.

The 23-year-old has been at Tottenham since he was 10 years old and he looked like he would break into the club’s first team in 2018 under the guidance of Mauricio Pochettino.

However, a serious injury halted his momentum, and he decided to go out on loan to get more first-team action last summer.

His loan spell with Rangers was a successful one as he made 35 appearances for the club in their unsuccessful bid to return to the Premier League.

TalkSport claims that he struck up a close bond with his manager, Mark Warburton, last season and they decided to bring him back.

His performances for them meant that there was competition for his signature, and Middlesbrough also wanted to sign him.

However, he has decided to return to Rangers after his successful loan spell there, and he will spend the next three seasons on their books.

Tottenham have accepted an undisclosed but low transfer fee for his transfer, however, they reportedly laced the move with add-ons that will see them earn some good value overall from his sale.

The report claims the transfer will be officially announced within the next 48 hours.
