Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping tabs on the Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.
A report from Fichajes claims that they are determined to sign the 23-year-old winger who is looking to get his career back on track.
The 23-year-old has had a strained relationship with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag and he has struggled for regular game time. Sancho is reportedly looking for minutes and a move to Tottenham could be ideal for him.
The report further states that the England international is valued at around €35 million and Tottenham are ‘seriously considering’ a move for him.
The likes of Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic are currently sidelined with injuries and Tottenham could certainly use another quality winger. Ange Postecoglou sees him as a ‘crucial’ addition.
Sancho was regarded as a world-class prospect during his time at Borussia Dortmund and he could be a key player for Tottenham if he manages to regain that confidence.
A move to Tottenham would give him a fresh start and the attacking system at Spurs could bring out the best in him once again. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few weeks.
Tottenham are currently on top of the league table and they will be hoping to stay there and challenge for major honours. Signing the right players in January will certainly boost their chances of returning to the Champions League and competing for trophies.
The reported €35m valuation could prove to be a bargain if he manages to get back to his best once again. He is only 23 and the England international has plenty of time to get his career back on track and fulfil his world-class potential.
