Tottenham scouts attend Roma vs Milan, €80m ace could be ‘the object of desire’

Roma played out a draw against AC Milan in the Italian league on Saturday and a number of Premier League clubs had their scouts in attendance to watch over some potential transfer targets.

According to a report from Gazzetta Dello Sport, the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea sent scouts to watch the Roma striker Tammy Abraham in action.

The 25-year-old has nine goals and seven assists to his name across all competitions, and he has proven to be a useful acquisition for Roma. The striker managed to score 27 goals across all competitions for the Italian club last season.

Both Manchester United and Chelsea need to find a reliable goalscorer and it remains to be seen whether they are prepared to sign the 25-year-old this summer. According to the Italian publication, Abraham is valued at €80 million.

Meanwhile, the report also adds that Tottenham scouts attended the game as well, but it is unclear as to which player they were scouting. Apparently, the former Chelsea striker could be ‘the object of desire’.

Tottenham need to bring in a reliable goalscoring partner for Harry Kane and Abraham could prove to be a useful option for them.

The 25-year-old could be tempted to return to the Premier League and a move to Tottenham could be an exciting opportunity for him.

Abraham will be hoping to establish himself as a regular starter for the England national team in the coming seasons and doing well at Tottenham alongside Kane could boost his chances of playing for his country regularly.
