Tottenham Hotspur have sent scouts to watch the Sheffield United striker Ryan One in action recently.

As per TBR Football, Tottenham could use their relationship with the Blades to get the deal done. They have previously dealt with Sheffield United when they signed Will Lankshear, and it will be interesting to see if they can secure an agreement with them for the Scottish striker.

Ryan One is highly rated in the Championship and he has a bright future ahead of himself. He could develop into a quality player for Spurs with the right guidance. The player is on the radar of Liverpool and Brentford as well.

The 18-year-old could be tempted to move to a Premier League club and it remains to be seen where he ends up. Tottenham need more depth in the attacking unit and they need someone who can share the goalscoring burden with Dominic Solanke.

The 18-year-old could be the ideal acquisition for them. He could be an understudy to Solanke for now and compete with the England international for the starting spot in the future. The 18-year-old has shown his quality in the Championship and he has the physical and technical attributes to do well in the top flight as well.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham come forward with an offer for the Scottish striker. Sheffield United are not willing to sell the player and Tottenham might have to pay a premium to get the deal done.

Convincing the youngster to join them should not be difficult. He will be excited about the possibility of playing in the Premier League. Tottenham are a big club with an ambitious project, and he is likely to be tempted to join them.
