Tottenham scout 13-goal Frenchman ahead of a potential move

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to add to their attack and they are keeping tabs on Marcus Thuram from Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 25-year-old Frenchman has been in impressive form this season and he has 13 goals to his name across all competitions.

A report from 90Min claims that Spurs were scouting the Gladbach forward on Friday and it will be interesting to see if they decide to follow up on their interest with a concrete offer in the coming months.

Spurs won’t be the only club after him and 90Min claim that Liverpool are keen on the player as well. It will be interesting to see if Spurs can beat the Reds to his signature.

Thuram has proven himself in the Bundesliga and he might be keen on a move to the Premier League in near future.

The 25-year-old is currently in the final year of his contract at the German club and the two parties have not been able to agree on an extension.

He will be able to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs in January and Spurs should look to swoop in and get a deal done.

Signing the 25-year-old on a free transfer would be a major coup for Daniel Levy and Spurs.

Antonio Conte could use a versatile attacker who can play anywhere across the front three. Naturally a centre forward, Thuram can play in the wide roles as well.

A move to Spurs would give him the chance to play at a higher level and he could experience Champions League football with the London club as well.
