Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing the Sporting CP winger Francisco Trincao at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old has done quite well for the Portuguese outfit this season and he has nine goals and 14 assists to his name in all competitions. He could prove to be a quality acquisition for Tottenham who need more quality and depth in the final third.
As per reports via GMS, Tottenham have been watching him for a while and they are preparing a move for him.
The Portuguese attacker is naturally a right-sided winger, but he is versatile enough to operate on both flanks. He will add goals and creativity to the side.
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can get the deal done. The former Barcelona player is highly rated across Europe and the Barcelona sporting director Deco has previously claimed that he is a “quality player with a great future”.

It will be interesting to see if Spurs can negotiate a reasonable deal for the player in the coming months. They need to add more cutting edge in the final third if they want to fight for trophies. It has been a mediocre season for them, and they need to bring in the right additions in order to bounce back strongly.
The opportunity to move to the Premier League could be quite exciting for Trincao, and he will look to prove himself at the highest level. He has the physicality and technical attributes to do well in English football, and he will look to establish himself as a key player for the north London club.
Tottenham need to find alternatives to players like Timo Werner and Richarlison in the summer. It remains to be seen whether they can bring in the right additions and challenge for trophies next season.
