Tottenham prepared to sell versatile ace for just £10 million in January

By Saikat -

Tottenham are prepared to sell Lucas Moura when the transfer window opens in January.

The 30-year-old attacker has fallen down the pecking order at the London club, and he has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot.

Moura needs to leave the Premier League club in order to play regular first-team football and a move away in January could be ideal for him.

According to Brazilian outlet Bolavip, the 30-year-old will be available for transfer in January and Spurs are looking to recoup £10 million for him.

The versatile Brazilian has been an important player for Tottenham since joining the club, and he was a key starter under former manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Moura helped Tottenham challenge for the title and reach the Champions League final in the last few seasons.

There is no doubt that he is still a quality player who would improve most teams in the league. It will be interesting to see whether the player decides to move back to his homeland or stay in a top-five European league.

A player of his ability is unlikely to have any shortage of suitors and Tottenham should be able to recoup the reported asking price for his services.

The Londoners have signed the likes of Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison in recent windows and both players have pushed Moura down the pecking order.

It is clear that he is not a key part of Antonio Conte’s first team plans, and it makes sense for both parties to part ways amicably.
