Tottenham Hotspur are keen on the Ajax defender Devyne Rensch.

The 21-year-old has attracted the attention of Premier League rivals Liverpool, as per CaughtOffside. He is highly rated across Europe and he could prove to be a quality acquisition for the two clubs.

Rensch is capable of operating as a right-back as well as a central defender. His versatility will be an added bonus for Tottenham if they can get the deal done.

Tottenham defender Pedro Porro has been linked with clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester United recently. Both clubs are keen on signing the Spanish international and it seems that Tottenham are looking at potential alternatives. The defender could prove to be a quality long-term addition for them. It remains to be seen whether they step up their pursuit of the player and come forward with an official offer to sign him.

The opportunity to move to the Premier League will be quite attractive for the young defender, and he will be tempted to test himself in the Premier League. It would be a major step up in his career and he would get to compete against the best attackers in the world in England.

The 21-year-old is highly rated at Ajax and he is unlikely to be a cheap acquisition. The Dutch outfit could easily demand a premium for him.

Ideally, Tottenham will be desperate to hold onto Porro for as long as possible. He has been an indispensable asset for them. Losing him would certainly weaken the side, but there is no doubt that Rensch could be an interesting alternative. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are looking at him as a potential alternative to Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
