Tottenham Hotspur defender Radu Dragusin continues to be linked with a potential move away from the club when the transfer window reopens in January.

The 22-year-old Romanian international has struggled for regular gametime at Tottenham and he needs to play more often at this stage of his career. According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Juventus are keen on signing the player and they would be prepared to provide him with an exit route.

However, the Italian outfit wants to sign him on loan and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham are ready to sanction his departure midway through the season. Even though the 22-year-old has not played for them regularly, he is an important squad player for them. Tottenham are lacking in depth when it comes to the defensive unit and they might not be keen on sending the player out on loan in January.

The report states that a potential move is not impossible, but the Italian outfit will have to convince the Premier League club. It remains to be seen of the situation develops.

Convincing the player to join the club will not be difficult because he harbours affection towards Juventus having played for them in the past. Furthermore, he could be attracted to the idea of returning to his former club if they are ready to provide him with gametime assurances.

The Romanian has proven himself in Italy and he could hit the ground running at Juventus. They are looking to bring in defensive reinforcements and the 22-year-old will certainly help them tighten up at the back.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few weeks.

Spurs will be hoping to secure Champions League qualification and they will look to do well in the cup competitions as well. They need a deeper squad to do well across multiple competitions and holding onto the Romanian would be a wise decision.
