Tottenham Hotspur’s number nine, Richarlison, could potentially leave the club next summer, according to sources from GiveMeSport.

The Brazilian forward returned to action on Saturday, after recovering from a knee injury that kept him out for eight games on the sidelines.

He made a brief appearance as a late substitute in Spurs’ 4-1 victory over West Ham, replacing Dominic Solanke.

Despite his return, uncertainty surrounds Richarlison’s future at Tottenham, who was close to a departure earlier in the summer transfer window.

The report suggest that Spurs will be cautious in managing Richarlison’s re-integration into Ange Postecoglou’s side. The Lilywhites are keen to avoid any setbacks, especially given his recent injury history.

The plan is to ease him back into action gradually to ensure he remains fit for the remainder of the season in order to protect his value with a prospective sale in mind for next summer.

His limited playing time so far—just 34 minutes across three substitute appearances—has raisesd questions about his long-term role within the team, with suggestions that the club will sell him next summer.

Tottenham have not felt his absence as much as they might have expected, largely due to the impressive form of Dominic Solanke.

The summer signing has become Postecoglou’s preferred option up front, delivering consistent performances that have solidified his place in the starting lineup.

This has created a competitive dynamic between Solanke and Richarlison, with the latter now facing a battle for game time.

Although Richarlison is contracted until 2027, there is growing speculation that Spurs might consider parting ways with their big money signing at the end of the season.

It has also been reported that the North London club will sign another striker next summer, with the likes of Jonathan David strongly linked with the club.

As Solanke continues to impress and Richarlison’s comeback is carefully monitored, Tottenham may soon face a decision regarding their Brazilian forward’s future in North London.
