Tottenham offering cash plus players for Serie A ace wanted by Juventus

Tottenham has reportedly offered players plus cash in exchange for Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik.

The Polish striker has been one of the most sought-after strikers in the past few months as he enters the final year of his current deal.

He has been a backup striker at Napoli, but he has delivered when he has been called upon by the Italians since he joined them.

Tottenham is looking for another striker that can take away the goal-scoring burden from Harry Kane.

Jose Mourinho wants to avoid the struggles his team went through when the England captain was sidelined earlier in the year and he thinks that Milik can offer goals when Kane isn’t available.

However, Spurs face serious competition from Juventus for the Polish attacker.

A recent report from Italy as cited by SportWitness claims that Spurs have offered players plus cash as they seek to avoid paying the £40-50million being demanded by Napoli.

Juventus are prepared to match that offer too claims the same report, and the Old Ladies are reportedly the player’s preferred destination.

If Milik does join Juve, he may struggle for chances as he would come up against established names like Gonzalo Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo. This competition for a place could tempt him to choose to join Spurs instead.
