Tottenham offered the chance to sign 22-year-old Ligue 1 ace

Brazilian winger Tete has reportedly been offered to Tottenham Hotspur.

The 22-year-old is currently on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk and he has excelled in the French league with Lyon.

The player has a contract with the Ukrainian club until the end of the season, but FIFA suspended the contracts of all foreign players playing in Ukraine following Russia’s invasion.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to sign the player in the coming weeks.

A report from 90Min claims that Newcastle United and West Ham United have been offered the chance to sign the player as well.

The winger was linked with a move to Southampton at the start of the season but the transfer did not materialise.

The player joined Lyon on loan and he has been an important starter for the French club. Tete has five goals and three assists to his name in the league.

The right winger is versatile enough to operate as a striker as well as an attacking midfielder. He could be a quality acquisition for Antonio Conte’s side.

The 22-year-old is likely to get better with experience and coaching. His signing could prove to be a masterstroke in the long run.

Tottenham need to add more variety and depth to their attack and the Brazilian seems like an ideal fit.

The opportunity to join the London club is likely to be a tempting proposition for the player as well and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few weeks.
