Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping tabs on the Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The 28-year-old Serbian international has been in fine form for the London club this past season, scoring 15 goals across all competitions.
Mitrovic has previously proven himself in English football and he could prove to be a quality acquisition for Tottenham.
The North London outfit are looking to bring in potential replacements for Harry Kane who has been linked with a move away from the club.
Even if the England international stays at the club, Tottenham need to add more depth and quality to the squad.
The former Newcastle man is well-settled in the Premier League and he could make an immediate impact at Tottenham.
However, Fulham value him close to £50 million and it remains to be seen whether Spurs are prepared to pay that kind of money for him.
Mitrovic was heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia earlier this summer but his suitors failed to agree on a deal with Fulham.
The London club are unlikely to let him leave for cheap and Tottenham will have to stump up the cash if they really want him.
A report from 90 Min claims that the player is ‘on Spurs’ radar’ after his move to Saudi Arabia fell through and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.
Tottenham had a disappointing campaign last year and they will be looking to get back into the top four and secure Champions League qualification. Someone like Mitrovic could improve them immensely in the final third.
Apart from his ability to score goals, the Serbian is excellent when it comes to holding up the ball and bringing others into the play.
