Tottenham make decision on their deadline day pursuit of 28-year-old UCL winner

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman.

A report from Football Insider claims that the player has been offered to the club, but Tottenham are not keen on making a move for him on deadline day. The 28-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Bayern Munich and he needs to leave in search of regular playing time.

It will be interesting to see if any club is willing to provide him with an exit route before the window closes later tonight. The French international winger has proven himself at the highest level with club and country. He has won multiple league titles throughout his career and the UEFA Champions League trophy as well.

Apart from his quality as a player, his winning winning experience could prove to be invaluable for most dressing rooms. However, Tottenham are already well-stocked in the attacking department and they will not be able to accommodate him in the starting lineup. It is understandable why they are not keen on a move for the Bundesliga star.

The player has been offered to other Premier League clubs as well and it remains to be seen where he ends up. He needs to play regularly at the stage of his career and he will have to sort out a move away from Bayern Munich before the window closes.

Meanwhile, Spurs will be reasonably happy with their summer transfer business, but they could still use a quality back up central defender.
