Tottenham linked with Euro 2020 winner who could replace Bale

Express Sports says Tottenham is interested in a move for Lorenzo Insigne as they continue to bolster their squad this summer.

The Lilywhites have been in the market for players who can help them compete for titles next season.

They also want to keep Harry Kane even though he has asked them to listen to offers for his signature.

One way they can convince him to remain at the club is to sign players that show they are serious about ending their trophy drought.

The report says as they have lost Gareth Bale following his return to Real Madrid after his loan spell last season, Insigne could become the attacker that replaces the Welshman.

Insigne has less than a year left on his current deal at Napoli and he is refusing to sign a new one unless they give him a huge upgrade to his current salary.

If this continues to be an issue, he would be sold by the Naples club and Corriere dello Sport reports that he could be available for just £26m.

That fee isn’t bad for a top player that has just won Euro 2020 with the Italian national team and who also scored 19 goals and provided seven assists in Serie A last season.
