Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo has been linked with a move away from the club in January.
According to Gianluca di Marzio, the Italian club are unhappy with the 23-year-old because of his delay in finalizing a move away from the club.
Apparently Premier League club Bournemouth are keen on signing the player and they have already submitted a concrete proposal to Roma. The Italian outfit are prepared to accept the offer but Zaniolo has now rejected move to the Cherries.
Roma want to get the deal done as soon as possible so that they can replace him adequately.
The midfielder has missed the last two games for the club and he is pushing for a transfer away from Rome. Meanwhile, there have been reports that the player has already agreed to join Tottenham but the north London club has not agreed to Roma’s demands yet.
With just a few days left in the January transfer window, it will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to come forward with an acceptable proposal for the 23-year-old.
Antonio Conte could use his quality and versatility in the final third and Zaniolo would be a superb long-term addition to Tottenham. His arrival will certainly benefit the attackers at Tottenham and he will be able to create chances for them with his creativity and vision.
As things stand, it seems like Zaniolo’s future and any potential move could go down to the wire and might be decided on deadline day.
