Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs keen on signing the Ukrainian midfielder Georgiy Sudakov.

The 22-year-old has attracted the attention of several top European clubs with his performances for Shakhtar Donetsk. According to a report from Caught Offside, Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal have been scouting the player and it will be interesting to see if they decide to make a move for him in the near future.

Tottenham could certainly use a quality attacking midfielder, especially with the way James Maddison has performed this season. The England international has been criticised for his inconsistencies. There is no doubt that he is a quality player, but there needs to be more competition for places.

Similarly, Liverpool need more creativity in the final third as well. The 22-year-old will help score goals and carve out opportunities for his teammates as well. Dominik Szoboszlai has not been able to live up to the expectations since the move to the Premier League and Sudakov could compete with the Hungarian for the starting spot.

As far as Arsenal are concerned, they have been overly dependent on Martin Odegaard for creativity. The Norwegian could use more support and it will be interesting to see if Arsenal can get a deal done for the Ukrainian international.

Georgiy Sudakov will be an expensive addition

Meanwhile, the report from Caught Offside claims that a fee of around €65 million could be enough to get the deal done. All three English clubs have the financial muscle to pay up and it will be interesting to see who comes forward with an official proposal to sign the midfielder.

While the asking price might seem like a premium, the 22-year-old is a prodigious talent and he could end up justifying the investment in the coming seasons.
