Tottenham keen on midfield prodigy who has attended three home games

Tottenham are interested in the services of Hertha Berlin sensation Boris Mamuzah Lum who has a £4.1 million release clause.

The North London club have made significant changes to their transfer policy under Ange Postecoglou and Johan Lange. Their priority is to bring in young stars who can help them in the long run and it was quite clear with the kind of business they did during the recently concluded summer transfer window.

While they did sign Dominic Solanke for a club record fee, they added young stars Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray and Wilson Odobert to their squad. Spurs will continue their search for young players with huge potential and according to a report from Bild, Tottenham are interested in the services of Boris Mamuzah Lum. They are advancing towards acquiring the Hertha Berlin youngster’s services.

The teenage defensive midfielder has come up the ranks at the German club and he recently made his first-team debut against SV Elversberg and became the youngest in the history of the club to do so at the age of 16 years and 363 days.

He is considered a huge prospect and is believed to have all the skillsets needed to succeed at the highest level. The North London club have been monitoring his progress for a long time and they finally seem ready to make a move.

Mamuzah Lum has already visited Tottenham’s training ground and has even attended three of their home games as per the report. His contract with the German club runs until the summer of 2026 but he is protected by a £4.1 million (€5m) release clause which won’t really be a problem for Spurs.
