Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Lorient midfielder Enzo Le Fee.
A report from 90 Min claims that Tottenham have joined a number of Premier League clubs in the race to sign the 23-year-old French midfielder, who has been quite impressive in Ligue 1 this season.
Le Fee has five goals and five assists to his name across all competitions, and he could be the ideal addition to the Tottenham midfield.
Tottenham need to add some craft and technical ability in the middle of the park. The French midfielder could complement the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur next season.
The versatile Frenchman can operate as the number ten as well as a central midfielder. He could prove to be an asset for the north London club as they look to build a squad capable of challenging for major trophies.
Tottenham have struggled to break down deep defences at times this season and striker Harry Kane has not had ample service either.
The north London club should look to bring in someone who can create more opportunities from the central areas and the 23-year-old Frenchman certainly fits the profile.
The midfielder will be out of contract in 2024 and the report from 90 Min claims that he is not keen on staying at Lorient beyond his current contract. The French outfit could consider selling the player for a reasonable price at the end of the season, and Tottenham could be an attractive destination for him.
Premier League rivals Liverpool are hoping to sign the player as well. But Tottenham are currently better placed to secure Champions League qualification and that could give them an edge in the transfer race. Liverpool are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements and the Frenchman could prove to be a quality acquisition for them.
