Tottenham interested in Juventus midfielder who can leave this month

Tottenham is one of the clubs interested in signing Juventus midfielder, Weston McKennie.

The American only joined the Old Lady last summer and he was one of their best players under Andrea Pirlo.

However, the former midfielder has been sacked and replaced with Massimiliano Allegri.

He was with the squad during pre-season and would have wanted to impress his new manager, but it seems he hasn’t succeeded with that.

Il Corriere dello Sport via Football Italia claims the midfielder isn’t a serious part of Allegri’s plans and he has been told that he can leave.

Juventus has several top midfielders in their squad and they also added Manuel Locatelli to it in this transfer window.

McKennie now has to find a new home if he wants to keep playing regularly and Fabio Paratici wants to take him to London.

The report claims that Everton and Aston Villa also want to sign him, but it is the latter club that has the strongest interest in his signature.

Villa has been ambitiously splashing the cash on top talent in this transfer window and they could beat Tottenham to signing him if the Lilywhites don’t act fast.
