Tottenham insider confirms interest in 24-year-old PL attacker with 14-G/A last season

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Wolves forward Pedro Neto this summer.

Ange Postecoglou wants to add more firepower to his attack ahead of next season. While the priority is to bring in a new number nine to lead their line, the North London club are also looking to add more depth to the flanks.

They have a long-standing interest in the services of Wolves attacker Pedro Neto and according to Paul O Keefe, they have reignited their interest in the Portuguese international.

Neto joined Wolves back in the summer of 2019 after making a name for himself at Lazio. He has been an important part of their first team ever since.

Last season, he was only involved in 24 matches across competitions but he still ended up contributing towards 14 goals (3 goals, 11 assists). While he has struggled with injuries over the years, Tottenham are still willing to bet on him.

Despite his contract running until the summer of 2027, the North London club are prepared to knock on Wolves’ door for his signature. People at Spurs admire the Portuguese international and feel his versatility could be of great use to them.

While he prefers playing out wide on the right flank, he is capable of featuring anywhere in front three and it could give Postecoglou multiple tactical options and significantly bolster his attack.

Spurs were previously linked with the Portuguese winger but decided to take a back seat in their pursuit. However, they have decided to return for his signature as they look to bolster their attack ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
