Tottenham are interested in securing the services of Besiktas forward Semih Kılıçsoy and could soon put forward an offer.
The North London club are looking at ways to reinforce their attack ahead of next season. While Ange Postecoglou has had an impressive start to life at Tottenham, he wants to add more firepower to his attack.
The priority is to bring in a world-class number nine but according to Aksam, Spurs are also interested in the highly talented Semih Kılıçsoy and could soon hold talks with Besiktas for his transfer.
The teenager was promoted to the Turkish club’s first team last summer and he hasn’t looked back since. In his 20 Super Lig starts last season, he found the back of the net on 11 occasions (12 goals in all competitions). His incredible form in front of goal in his first full season with the senior team hasn’t gone unnoticed. It has put him on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Multiple clubs from the Premier League are keeping a close eye on him and could provide stiff competition to Tottenham who are desperate to have him at their disposal. While they want a proven goal scorer to help them take the next step, Kılıçsoy could be a long-term replacement for Harry Kane who left last summer.
Tottenham are quite serious about their pursuit and are ready to sit with the Turkish club after Euro 2024 to hold talks regarding the transfer of Kılıçsoy.
The North London club are expected to table an offer for the teenager who is currently valued at €25 million. While Besiktas will evaluate any offers for the teenage attacking sensation, the player is solely focused on doing his best for Turkey at the Euro and will only decide his future after he returns from Germany.
