Tottenham in negotiations over long term target but face Italian competition

Football London claims that Spurs are in talks over signing their long-term target, Kim Min-Jae.

The 23-year-old South Korean has been a long-term target of Tottenham as the Lilywhites look to bolster their team.

Spurs have lost Jan Vertonghen after the Belgian left the club for free at the expiry of his contract.

Jose Mourinho wants to get back into the top four next season and he knows that the Belgian will have to be replaced.

Min Jae has been on the radar of Tottenham for a long time now and the report is claiming that Spurs are looking to get his signing completed.

It claims that Beijing Goan are prepared to sell him, but they are looking to make 15 million euros from his sale.

Spurs isn’t the only team looking to sign him, with the same report also claiming that Lazio is keen to land him.

The Italians have just qualified for the Champions League and they want to make an impression in the competition next season.

Most players, given the choice, would probably choose to play in the Premier League and under Mourinho, but Spurs will have to secure an agreement with his team before they can land him.
