Tottenham have scouted €86m La Liga ace, three other PL clubs keen

Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra has been linked with a move away from the Spanish club.

The La Liga side are unwilling to sell the 20-year-old in the coming months but a report from 90 min claims that the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle, Tottenham and West Ham are all scouting the midfielder.

The 20-year-old playmaker has been scouted by all four Premier League clubs in the last few weeks and months.

It remains to be seen whether the likes of Tottenham decide to come forward with a proposal to sign him in January.

The midfielder has a contract with Valencia until the summer of 2027 and he has a release clause of around €86 million. Tottenham are highly unlikely to pay that kind of money to sign the player and Valencia would have to agree to a reasonable price in order for any move to go through.

Furthermore, Spurs already have James Maddison at their disposal and the 26-year-old has been outstanding for them since joining the club. They will struggle to accommodate Guerra in the starting lineup.

The 20-year-old midfielder prefers to play in an attacking midfield role and he can operate as the advanced central midfielder as well.

While there is no doubt that he is a prodigious talent with a big future ahead of him, he might not be the right fit for Tottenham at this stage. He needs to play regularly in order to continue his development and Spurs will not be able to provide him with that platform.

The youngster needs to concentrate on his development right now and he will have plenty of opportunities to play for the big clubs in the near future.
