Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the move for the Brazilian winger Felipe Anderson.
The 30-year-old winger has been linked with the move away from the Italian club during the January transfer window. He has a contract with Lazio until the summer of 2024 and the Italian outfit could look to cash in on him in the coming weeks in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer at the end of the season.
A report from TV Play claims that Tottenham have now ‘reached out’ to the Italian club to get information regarding the player. It remains to be seen whether they follow up on their interest with a concrete proposal to sign the attacker in January.
Tottenham could certainly use more depth in the final third. Felipe Anderson will add flair and goals to the Tottenham attack. He could share the creative and goalscoring burden alongside players like Son Heung-min and James Maddison.
The Brazilian has played in the Premier League before with West Ham and he could prove to be a useful acquisition. He might be able to adapt to the Premier League quickly and make an immediate impact.
The report further states that Lazio could demand in excess of €20 million for the attacker. Tottenham certainly have the financial means to get the deal done and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.
