“Tottenham have got Kane, a world class striker, and they’ve got a world class manager” Pundit backs Spurs for the title

Roy Keane has tipped Tottenham to win the Premier League title ahead of Manchester United because of Harry Kane and Jose Mourinho.

The Lilywhites have made a fine start to this Premier League season as they continue to get the results that can make them champions.

After beating Manchester City the previous weekend, they drew goalless with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge yesterday to keep themselves at the top of the Premier League table.

The Blues are also high-fliers in this campaign after they splashed the cash to strengthen their team in different positions in the last transfer window.

Manchester United has had an indifferent season as they remain one of the most unpredictable teams in the division.

Keane was on punditry duty this weekend ahead of Tottenham’s game against Chelsea, and he was asked by Super Sunday host David Jones if he thought Spurs can win the title ahead of his former team and he said:

“At the moment, yeah,” Keane replied as quoted by the Sun.

“Chelsea have obviously invested well and they seem to have a stronger squad. Obviously, the goalkeeper was a big purchase for them.

“Tottenham have got Kane, a world class striker, and they’ve got a world class manager.

“So at this moment of time, of course you would say that they’re more capable of putting some sort of title challenge than United are.”
