Tottenham are keen on signing the PSV Eindhoven winger Johan Bakayoko.
According to a report from TEAMtalk, they have the 20-year-old winger ‘on their radar’ and it remains to be seen whether they decide to make a move for him at the end of the season.
Tottenham could certainly use more quality in the final third and the 20-year-old winger will add pace, creativity and goals to their attack. Bakayoko has been in impressive form this season scoring eight goals across all competitions. He has picked up 13 assists along the way as well.
The talented young winger is likely to improve with coaching and experience, and he has the tools to develop into a world-class attacker. Tottenham have employed a free-flowing attacking approach under their new manager and they could certainly use someone like Bakayoko, who will add more sharpness to their attack and help them break down deep defences.
The 20-year-old’s ability to take on defenders and beat them in one versus one situations will add some unpredictability to the attack.
Meanwhile, the right-sided winger is likely to be tempted to join a big club in the summer and a move to the Premier League will be an exciting opportunity for him.
Tottenham are well placed to secure Champions League qualification and a top four finish would help them attract elite young talents like Bakayoko. It remains to be seen whether they can agree on a fee with the Dutch outfit in the coming months.
