Tottenham handed significant boost in 29-year-old’s contract saga

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from the London club at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old has been in outstanding form this season scoring 19 goals across all competitions.

The England international will be out of contract in the summer of 2024 but Tottenham are now confident that the player will extend his stay at the London club.

Initially, it was believed that Harry Kane’s future is closely tied to that of manager Antonio Conte.

The Italian manager will be out of contract in the summer and Spurs have not managed to agree on a new deal with him yet. Conte has been linked with the return to Italy and it will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds.

Meanwhile, Kane has been linked with clubs like Manchester City and Bayern Munich in recent years. If Spurs manage to keep him at the club beyond this season, it would be a massive boost for them.

Tottenham are hoping to put together a squad capable of winning major trophies and keeping Kane at the club should be at the top of their priority list.

A report from Football Insider claims that Tottenham are confident Kane would extend his deal even if Antonio Conte leaves the club at the end of the season.

Kane is undoubtedly one of the best players in the world and he is thought to be focused on beating Alan Shearer’s Premier League goal-scoring record.

It seems that the England international is not keen on a move away from the Premier League.

Meanwhile, the London club are keen to tie him down to a mega-money contract which will keep him at his boyhood club for the remainder of his career.
