As the upcoming transfer window approaches, rumours are starting to circulate, with Tottenham Hotspur being linked with several players, including Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Recent report from talkSPORT suggests that Tottenham are considering Dewsbury-Hall as a viable option to bolster their midfield ranks, particularly in light of the expected departure of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg at the end of the season.

Tottenham’s good relationship with Leicester could help in pursuit

The Lilywhites have been proactive in the transfer market in recent windows and are expected to continue their recruitment drive in the upcoming summer, with Dewsbury-Hall emerging as a key target.

Tottenham have a positive relationship with Leicester City. They signed James Maddison for £40m from the Foxes, a player who made an instant impact at Spurs. They also sold them Harry Winks for a fee close to £10m, with Winks playing a key role in their fight for promotion.

This further fuels speculation regarding their interest in Dewsbury-Hall.

Dewsbury-Hall is enjoying a stellar season

The 25-year-old midfielder, who has been with the Foxes since a young age, has enjoyed a stellar campaign in the Championship.

With impressive statistics of 11 goals and 13 assists in 38 Championship appearances this season, Dewsbury-Hall has caught the attention of several clubs, including Tottenham.

His current contract with Leicester City runs until June 2027, but recent reports suggest that a transfer fee in the region of £25 million could facilitate his departure from the King Power Stadium.

However, it is noted that this sum could potentially rise to £40 million if Leicester secures promotion back to the Premier League.

Currently occupying 3rd place in the Championship with 86 points, Leicester are in contention for promotion, trailing leaders Ipswich Town by just one point with a game in hand.

Should Dewsbury-Hall make the move to Tottenham, it would see him reunite with former Leicester teammate James Maddison under the management of Ange Postecoglou, potentially forming an intriguing midfield partnership at Spurs.
