Tottenham Hotspur continues to be linked with a move for the Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante.
According to a report from Il Messaggero via Tuttomercatoweb, the midfielder is in the sights of Tottenham and the North London club would be willing to offer €30 million for him next summer.
The report adds that the €30 million ‘offer would be difficult to say no to’.
Cristante has established himself as a key player for Roma but the Italian outfit have limited resources. The reported €30 million offer would certainly be a tempting proposition for them and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.
Tottenham need to add more quality and depth to their midfield and Cristante will add physicality and defensive cover to the side.
Denmark international Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been linked with a move away from the North London club and Cristante could be his replacement next summer. It remains to be seen whether all parties can secure an agreement in the coming months now.
Cristante is at the peak of his career right now and the opportunity to move to the Premier League will be an attractive option for him. He will want to test himself at a high level and prove himself in English football.
There is no doubt that he has the quality to thrive in the Premier League and he could prove to be a useful acquisition for the reported price.
His arrival would allow Spurs to rotate key players like Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr as well.
