Tottenham could offer €10m plus 23-yr-old for World Cup semi-finalist

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

According to a report from Inter Live, Spurs are one of the most interested clubs in signing the Croatian international in the summer.

The 30-year-old defensive midfielder has been a key player for club and country over the years and he should prove to be a quality acquisition for the Londoners as well. He will add some much-needed depth and experience to the Tottenham midfield.

Antonio Conte has Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur as his preferred midfielders. The likes of Yves Bissouma and Oliver Skipp have been used as squad players this season. Conte could certainly use another player who is ready to start every week and Brozovic would be a smart signing.

The Croatian is at the peak of his career and he should be able to adapt to the Premier League and make an immediate impact. He helped his country reach the semi-finals of the Qatar World Cup.

Apparently, Spurs could offer €25 million for the Inter Milan star, or they could try to sign him in a player plus cash deal as well. The report from Inter Live adds that Spurs could offer €10 million along with Japhet Tanganga to the Italian club.

The 23-year-old defender is clearly unwanted at the London club and a move away from Spurs would be ideal for him. It remains to be seen whether Inter are prepared to accept such an offer.

Inter will need to add more depth to their defence, especially with players like Stefan De Vrij and Milan Skriniar set to leave in the summer.
