Tottenham could offer 22-yr-old in a player-plus-cash deal to sign €50m star

Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil is currently on loan at his former club Sevilla and the Londoners could use him in a deal to sign Yassine Bounou.

According to a report from La Razon, Tottenham are hoping to bring down the asking price for the 31-year-old goalkeeper at the end of the season and they will use the 22-year-old winger in order to sweeten the deal for the Spanish club.

Gil was highly rated at Sevilla before his move to Tottenham and the 22-year-old has impressed since returning to his former club on loan.

The report claims that Jorge Sampaoli and the Sevilla fans are delighted with the 22-year-old attacker and they would welcome the chance to sign him permanently.

Meanwhile, Tottenham will have to find a quality replacement for club legend Hugo Lloris and the 31-year-old Morocco international goalkeeper would be an excellent acquisition.

Bounou has established himself as one of the most promising goalkeepers in the Spanish league and he was exceptional in the recently concluded World Cup in Qatar as well.

He was crucial to Morocco’s run to the semi-finals and he has the quality to succeed in the Premier League as well.

The highly experienced goalkeeper has a €50m release clause in his contract and Tottenham will be hoping to sign him for a far more reasonable fee in the summer.

It remains to be seen whether the two clubs can agree on a deal involving the two players at the end of the season.
