Tottenham could move for 23-year-old attacker who was offered to them last summer

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old winger was offered to them last summer, but the North London club opted to sign Brennan Johnson instead.

According to a report from the Guardian, his performances have impressed Tottenham this season and they could look to make a move for him at the end of the season. Nottingham Forest paid £3 million for the winger at the start of the season and they could now sell him for a substantial profit.

Tottenham need more quality and depth in the attack and the 23-year-old should prove to be a quality acquisition. He will add goals and creativity from the wide areas. He is versatile enough to operate on both flanks.

Hudson-Odoi failed to establish himself as a regular starter during his time at Chelsea, and he will feel that he has a lot to prove at the highest level. He will look to establish himself as a key for Tottenham and make his mark in European football with them. A move to Tottenham will be an exciting step up in his career and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can secure his signature.

The 23-year-old picked up eight goals and two assists in all competitions this past season and he’s likely to improve with coaching and experience. Tottenham’s attacking system could get the best out of him as well. Ange Postecoglou could help him improve further and fulfil his tremendous potential.

If Tottenham can sign him for a reasonable price, it could prove to be a superb future investment for them.
