Tottenham could face a revolt from Kane over transfer

Some of Harry Kane’s England teammates do not expect him to return for preseason this summer in a bid to force through a move to Manchester City.

Kane told Tottenham that he wants to leave before Euro 2020 and he has interest from Manchester United and City.

Having led the line well for the Three Lions and helping them to reach the final of the competition, he will now face his club future directly.

The striker remains one of the best in Europe and at 27, this might be his best time to leave Spurs.

The club expects him to return for preseason under their new manager, Nuno Espirito after his extended holiday.

However, The Telegraph says some of his Three Lions teammates expect him to force through his move away from the club and it could mean he doesn’t return for preseason with the rest of the squad.

This is set to cause a rift between him and the club because the report says they told Nuno Santo that he would stay with them beyond this summer.

Spurs hope he can fire them to a top-four finish under the new boss and they could achieve their aim with plans to price him out of a move away from the club.
