Tottenham change transfer stance regarding midfielder, multiple clubs keen on deadline day move

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Alfie Devine has been linked with a move away from the club this summer.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is reportedly a target for multiple clubs this summer and journalist Alasdair Gold has now revealed that Tottenham would be willing to let him leave on loan.

The North London club were not keen on letting the player leave initially, but it seems that they have now changed their stance. The 20-year-old needs ample game time in order to continue his development and a move away from the North London club would be ideal for him.

He would get to play more often and regular football could accelerate his development as well. Devine is highly talented and he has a bright future ahead of himself. He is highly rated at the North London club as well and they must handle his development carefully.

Sitting on the bench at Tottenham is unlikely to benefit him. The North London club are already well stocked in the attacking midfield department, and they will not be able to provide him with adequate opportunities.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can find a suitable destination for him. With several clubs interested, the player will be hoping that a transfer can be arranged quickly. The transfer window closes later today and the player will be determined to secure a move by then.

The 20-year-old will look to use the loan spell to improve himself as a footballer and return as a better player next summer.
