Tottenham attacker’s camp tells club that player wants to leave Spurs at all costs

Tottenham attacker Bryan Gil is close to joining Spanish side Girona.

He is not part of Ange’s plans with the club leaving him out of the pre-season squad as well.

It was recently reported that La Liga side Girona are interested in signing him and have opened talks with Spurs regarding a move.

The Italian transfer expert has now shared the latest on the transfer, claiming that the player has his heart set on a move to Girona and has agreed personal terms.

The player’s representatives have told Spurs that the player wants the move at all cost.

Talks are ongoing with the club hoping to strike a deal soon.

Romano shared the following update on X:

“Understand Bryan Gil has got his heart set on a move to Girona and personal terms have been agreed. Player’s camp informed Tottenham that Bryan wants to join Girona at all costs. Negotiations between clubs over deal formula, talks still ongoing.”

Gil joined the club from Sevilla with a big reputation but has failed to reach his potential at Spurs.

Despite successful loan spells at Valencia and Sevilla, he has failed to impress any of the Spurs managers he has played under.

Last season, he made only 11 Premier League appearances, amassing just 201 minutes on the pitch.

The club are keen on cashing in on him and the player wants to leave as well to revive his career.

All parties will be looking forward to seeing a deal completed as soon as possible.
