Tottenham have agreed on a deal to sign the Chelsea striker Jude Soonsup-Bell.
According to a report from Evening Standard, the 19-year-old striker was set to become a free agent at the end of the season and Tottenham have now swooped in and secured his services.
Soonsup-Bell is expected to complete his medical with Tottenham later today and sign a long-term contract with the club.
The Chelsea under-21 striker is set to join up with the Tottenham youth team and the north Londoners are hoping that he can help their under-21 side bounce back during the second half of the season.
The Tottenham under-21 side are currently in the bottom three of Premier League 2 and it remains to be seen whether the young striker can make an immediate impact.
Soonsup-Bell is highly rated around the country and he will be hoping to play for the Tottenham first team in the coming seasons.
There is no doubt that the 19-year-old is a prodigious talent with a big future ahead of him and it remains to be seen whether he can stake his claim in Antonio Conte’s first-team plans by impressing for the youth teams.
Apparently, Tottenham have beaten the likes of Manchester City to secure the youngster’s signature. Apparently, the Premier League champions were keen on signing the Chelsea youngster as well and they submitted an offer to the player who decided to join Tottenham instead.
