A significant development has unfolded in the Radu Dragusin transfer saga as Bayern Munich officially submit a bid for the Romanian defender.
Earlier today, it seemed Spurs were nearing completion of the deal after their revised offer, including Spence in a loan move, was accepted.
The club’s remaining challenge was persuading Spence to agree to the move, with reports indicating his reluctance towards joining Genoa being the only obstacle impeding the deal’s closure.
But Romano has just shared the latest update claiming that the huge twist comes after Bayern formally submitted a bid for the Genoa defender, an offer which is better than the one Spurs sent in.
However, he adds that Tottenham are confident they can get the player because of Dragusin already agreeing personal terms with them.

While, it has been reported that the player’s preferred destination is England, this was before Bayern Munich formal offer.
The stature of the clubs involved may influence Dragusin’s decision, leaving the final choice in the hands of the talented defender as he deliberates on his destination.
