“Tier I want to believe it so badly so it’s true” “Please, let there be a God” Massively Positive Fan Reaction To This Transfer Tip

Difficult to know what to think about this particular transfer tittle-tattle, decent Tottenham rumours are think in the ground, and it is likely to remain that way for some time due to conditions that we’ve discussed at length before today, Has Football Insider actually heard something or is this simply one of those ‘extremely plausible’ bits of conjecture that get occasionally get through the vetting process?

It’s not unimaginable that Doherty could return to Wolverhampton Wanderers, readers older than my socks will recall the business we did with Everton in respect of Steven Pienaar. He was barely out of the IN tray before he was slipped into the OUT tray in N17.

Doherty hasn’t worked for a variety of reasons, but here we are again, in just one day, with three prospective exits being mooted from the Spurs backline. Whilst I don’t disagree with the notion that we need a dramatic shake-up, it is a struggle to believe that Daniel Levy would sanction so much change in one window.

Anyhoo – the rumour was discussed on Twitter and drew pretty much universal approval. For once, I don’t blame them.

Maybe he gets a pass because he’s Jose’s agent.

Stephen Pinnear, Gylfi Sigurdson two who went back from whence they came. As for Doherty we live in hope that perhaps a vet puts him out of his misery ( veiled reference to him being a bit of a donkey) Or like the other two he goes back to Wolves.

As for any incoming… As usual we’ll be linked to anything with a pulse. Nothing will come of most of them. There’s a pattern at Spurs, a well trodden path when it comes to transfers one that inevitably leads to disappointment.

The Mail would run a story that spiders had five legs if I sent them a dodgy photoshop of a picture of my garage ceiling. I imagine ‘Broccolli is really made from german chickens’ would make it onto the front page of the mail. I wouldn’t waste 10M on Vinicius.

The Mail is running a story that we won’t take up the 35M option on Vinny, but will instead offer 17M.

Typical Levy, but i still feel that is too much.Yes he’s scored a few goals over his appearances, but they have all come against feeble opposition.

No thanks.

That Portuguese link in transfers has been disappointing, Gedson, Vinicius, Doherty.

None are keepers by the looks of it.

If he went back to Wolves that thieving agent would be involved on both sides again.
