This team and this coach are a failed project. The players know and Poch knows that ENIC are simply not going to invest to win anything.
Levy said the other day that the objective is to build a brand/empire of Premier League, Champions League, NFL, rugby and concerts / events.
He said that ENIC will not change their transfer policy and that this is all about building from the bottom up which takes a long time.
19 plus years of ownership and nothing of any note in terms of football success but lots of shiny property assets.
The players don’t care about the club or its owners as they know it is a fake project that pretends it is a top club – but has no desire to invest to be one.
I am actually beginning to dislike the club as it is a reflection of ENIC.
HH SAYS: As I type, it’s not too tricky to work out how Poch’s post match presser will go.
This was another performance that tells us that something at Tottenham isn’t right.
It’s vital in such times to remember who we are. We’re Spurs fans, not hedge fund managers.
we need a petition to fire whoever decided to get our coaching team to wear pink and purple. for real. it looks gay and unprofessional. what kind of weak delusional leftist shit is this
Marxism Leninism of Spurs?or both? Be specific legend
I’d definitely jump YOUR ship
No-one is talking about jumping ship but the strength of my ongoing support does have some relation to what is going down on the pitch, I want to support a football team, not a retail outlet league side.
It’s an oligopoly NOT A MONOPOLY.
Probably but we’ve had more than our fair share of VAR decisions in recent times, not that that helps but you know, whatevs!
I understand the whole discussion and analysis that is founded on the correct understanding of Karl Marx DAS KAPITAL and Vkadimir Ulianov WHAT IS TO BE DONE.ENIC is NOT a benevolent organisation or an NGO looking after refugees. It is an oligopoly WHOSE ONLY OBJECTIVE IS THE MAXIMISATION OF PROFIT. The only working class soccer team you can support is to be found in Laos Kerala in India or Cuba OK we can also mention North Korea. The dilemma is ONE: DO WE STILL SUPPORT OUR TEAM.OF LOVE OR WE MOVE TO SOMEONE WHO CAN BEAT AMATEURS LIKE OLYMPIACOS ?Me I will DIE a Spur.
Actually, not quite ‘forced’. I was talking this morning to a fellow Spud about how disinterested we were about attempting to do the online lottery for a ticket to the Retail Park. We talked about perhaps supporting our local
Isthmian South East Football League team.
It’s absolutely shit. Simple as that. The club is rotten from the top down. In fact there’s an ever stronger argument the club is an illusion now, not real, certainly not the club we grew up with. I didn’t even watch it because I knew what was coming. I’ve never done that in my adult life. Feel so angry at what that hope he dies soon cunt has done to my football club I can’t accurately describe. And reality is, he doesn’t need CL football anymore, nfl covers that particular revenue stream. Parasites. Hope they all suffer far more than I’m prepared to say on here. Fuck off levy and take that greedy old cunt with you
Er… just re-register mate. Maybe tweak the user-name?

Dear HH

The Poch project is dead, along with the current team. As was expected, we did not strengthen in the transfer window properly. We bought three crocked players and loaned out a fourth, who can’t get into the Leeds team and whom Poch did not want to buy in the first place. We needed a back up to Kane, an AM, RB, CD and probably a wide player. The only question remains is how long Poch will stay into the season. I am sure Real Madrid would like him but Zidane is more expensive to sack than Poch is to hire. Poch is in a fixed term parliament position. He wants to go but is locked into a contract that nobody will buy out, so he stays until Levy sacks him.
Enic and Levy only worship money. It is possible to run a successful football club and win trophies without doing a Leeds, but Levy, in his parallel universe, as the highest paid chairman in the PL, doesn’t understand this. He evidently doesn’t understand football matters, like appointing the right managers, having a credible scouting system and applying the right skills to the transfer window without pissing off the chairmen of every football team in the Pl and Europe.
Sad to say but until the fans vote with their feet, stop renewing their season tickets, stop going to the new emporium, buying overpriced food, drinks and other merchandising tat, Enic will never get the message.
Prepare for a long, arduous and ultimately unsuccessful season, climaxing with Kane leaving.
I’m more depressed now about Spurs than i can remember being for an awfully long time, our footballing future is not bright, unlike our asset balance and remarkably low debt repayments which are brilliant and all Levy is interested in.
As a football team we are a badly busted flush. Condemned today to defeat by the type of player (the actual player) we not only should but could have bought for £20million quid. Bizarre to say given what flatearthers would reference as our success but i can’t remember a time i’ve felt quite this low about Spurs. It’s the squandered opportunities, each glaringly signposted well ahead of time but repeated ad nauseum. And the absolute knowledge that we have a chairman whose only interest, his exclusive interest above all others, is acquiring property assets and growing their value through low cost leverage debt. Levy has built a shrine to joyless capitalism, (this from an arch capitalist btw), at the expense of our footballing dreams. There can be no arguments, none whatsoever that we have been going backwards in footballing terms for quite some time now. The team has lost all momentum, has clearly lost a great deal of team spirit and togetherness and i’m not at all sure the players or the manager (let alone the fans) have any idea these days what it is they are fighting for or why.
We’re football fans forced to follow a monopolistic Property Management Corporation.
Think grey would match the mood right now.
And where the f*CK are those summer signings, from that long ago summer when all seemed well with the world and we all had a spring in our step.
What a shame. We’ve regressed back to being serial losers.
When have we been anything else?
60’s? 80’s?
You’ll have to tell me because Ive put up with this shit my whole life! Well, since I was 10.
The nearly there feeling of the last few years is very quickly going.
ENIC OUT.
Where can I buy the t-shirt…
The Bournemouth one was wrong last night too.
And they’ve got players wearing training bras. Insidious.
Poch in his presser says we must work harder. Yeah, how about working smarter.
you can be in denial about homosexuality being a bad thing all you want. the reality is that teams that play in pink and purple don’t play well. they make prisoners wear these colours because they’re emasculating. thank the homosexual leftism rotting the brains of londoners for this too. fiorentina. palermo. scotland when they had a pink away strip. man utd when they had a pink away strip. all teams that wear pink and purple and flopped and did worse than their expected level. teams that wear pink/purple and succeed: …..
Yeah bloody horrible, went on the Spurs shop to find a nice match day or training top, and nearly threw up when I saw those purple yokes, will wait for something more fetching, like last year’s green efforts.
How many passes back are VAR checking in the build up to a goal – ten? twenty? such a marginal call four or five passes and a minute before the ball goes in the net…well, I just don’t know
Overall VAR has been kind to us but it is a ridiculous spectacle
Wait till ya see it ,silver rizla shit.
That’s another Match of the Day I’ll not be able to stomach.
The most interesting thing now about Spurs is finding out who Poch has put on the naughty step.
Here comes the social media damage control 6.50 per hour sloggers.
GET A PROPA JOB
yep. and while we’re at it let’s not get our fucking coaching team to wear fucking pink and purple
Maybe it was a goal, but in the long run it makes no difference, what makes a difference is attitude, a real team after not getting the goal would have said, ” right lads we have scored twice, we can can score a winner, let’s get stuck in”, but this isn’t a real team, it’s a collection of players and they felt sorry for themselves and packed it in. If they don’t care, why should I care about them are Enic, or Tottenham PLC, or whatever money gobbling entity exists in North London.
I didn’t see it, was it not offside? Hmmm, now why doesn’t that surprise me. Same shit. Different BT feature.
Totally disagee
Much as it is tempting to vent my foul mood on ENIC, I can save that for another day. The most obvious and glaring object of my ire right now, is the fucking abortion that is VAR. A perfectly good goal wholly arbitrarily ruled out, when even after 4 reviews/stills/slow mo’s there was absolutely no concrete evidence that Son was offside.
The benefit of the doubt, in offside decisions, is supposed to go to the attacking side. Even allowing for the ‘clear and obvious error’ stipulation, there was clearly considerable doubt as to whether Son was actually offside at all, let alone enough to reverse the ref’s original decision, hence, per the law, the goal should have stood.
