Tottenham Hotspur’s commercial activities have under ENIC always made plenty of headlines. I couldn’t even tell you who precisely owned most Premier League sides, they tend not to hit the headlines all that frequently, but Spurs’ business side of the business is always in the winner’s enclosure.
This fan however is making some explosive claims, foremost of which is that a deal is completed or at very least heavily underway for THFC to be taken over by NFL giants, The Dallas Cowboys.
The Cowboys were featured in their own All or Nothing Amazon documentary in 2017 and play in navy blue and white, so it must be true*.
Pinch of salt, enough salt to grit your entire estate, or some amazing breaking news?
*This is clearly not evidence of any gravitas.
I actually recognise that geezer in the interview, he definitely was there at the Lewis/Dallas negotiations. If I remember correctly he served the 59 Chateau Lafite.
Agreed.
At this point you would be hard pushed to find a buyer that turns the stomach to the same level as our current owners.
Likewise a sale to the Dallas Cowboys might be unwanted, but………….
There is more chance the entire PL leaves the UK than the cowboys leaving Dallas. They are worlds most valuable sports team.
True… Late, over budget, and unwanted, but it happened.
The new stadium was HUGE! and did happen.
I think there’s truth in it, whether it’s Dallas Cowboys or whoever. With the new stadium in mind, Lewis and Levy have been priming THFC for a sale, which would explain the poor level of spending on playing staff and a greater emphasis on profitability, whether real or imagined.
If only this was true.
The little I know of American Football tells me that
the Cowboys haven’t won a Superbowl since 1995 and they have an owner who sacks successful managers, so they would be perfect for us.
this would be HUGE!! so never going to happen!!
Bloody hell!
Could they re-locate the Cowboys to London and Spurs go the States and win something in the MLS?
