After the mauling Tottenham gave Southampton yesterday, Sonny deservedly picked up his man of the match award, but without an equally astonishing performance from Harry Kane, it’s debatable we would have won in such magnificent style.
In the post match interviews, Harry was asked about the game, only for José to crash it and tell viewers that Kane was the real hero, and that it was a team game.
The two footballing aces were appalled by the moment. Or rather, their humourless reaction only serves to prove that some fans are hell bent on not enjoying a single moment of Mourinho’s reign at Spurs.
Lighten up.
Some words aren’t allowed that don’t make sense…. Like I cannot say or talk about Matthew the quality Dutch centre back who came from Ajax. We tried to get him when we got Sanchez. He plays for Juventus now… Said his second name twice before (coincidently in long posts). Immediate deletion.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, I have to say Sonny looked less than impressed when his interview was crashed in the same way on MOTD2.
Loving Jose, but this was a bit of a d*ck move.
Yeah, read it through and couldnt see a swear word, or anything that could be deemed one. Maybe I am so desensitised now. lol
Why can’t balls be given for a hat-trick of assists, it’s even less common than a hat-trick of goals so is just as worthy.
Mou sometimes needs to stop playing to the camera I think, though it was probably just banter, it’s best tolet the players have the moment to themselves, they were the real stars.
Not by a human, but there is a profanity filter!
Christ its hardly Kanye West v Taylor Swift . Perhaps, Mr Woods Jose is knows his players well enough to know that he’s only bantering.
Who cares
Are all my comments moderated?
Jose was right, it was a bit of banter…however, Son did not look amused, and to snatch a MOM moment from a player must sting a little. I think Jose should have picked his moment.
He walked around post match like he was on Champagne and it was the greatest football he has seen. I think we had 7 shots, and scored 5. We were far from dominant, and the score line was as much down to dreadful 2nd half defending as it was to our attack. Can anyone tell me the 1st half display looked like a positive thing?
It was a great great thing in 2nd half, to put a team to the sword and not stop, but we conceded 2 against a team I believe will go down this year

Bit of light hearted banter. Sonny, Kane and Tanguy dug us out of a hole but the Saints back line was absolutely atrocious and as good as our front two were, I doubt better sides will be so generous after going a goal up.
We need to perform consistently against better sides, it seems that with Jose it’s often the quality of player rather than the quality of tactics on display that make the difference.
Not convinced yet, still work to do…
These two Sun readers, Peter Woods & ? Oh the same Peter Woods.
😆 He’s right as well he should have got man of the match… Kane was Stevie G in disguise. Not just the assists his passing was something else.
