‘There’s no way…’: Man United hero makes bold prediction about Tottenham’s season

Dwight Yorke has backed former club Manchester United to secure a top-four spot ahead of Tottenham.

The North London club suffered yet another defeat on Sunday as they lost to arch-rivals Arsenal at home. Despite being the better team for the majority of the game, they had nothing to show for it and it wasn’t the first time something of that sort has happened to Ange Postecoglou’s team this season.
They have only won once so far in the 2024/25 Premier League season.

While the objective is a top-four finish, there are serious question marks over whether they will be able to achieve it at the end of the season. Former Manchester United forward Dwight Yorke doesn’t really think Spurs will manage a top-four finish.

While speaking on BEIN Sports, the 52-year-old was asked by Richard Keys about who he feels will finish in a Champions League spot among Tottenham and Manchester United.

Yorke said: “It is a good question. I think Man United has got a good chance.”

“There’s no way Tottenham are ahead of Manchester United, no way. As bad as we may be right now, current position, Tottenham is not ahead of Man United, in any department. Well, beautiful stadium, I’ll give you that.”

Despite all the trouble the Manchester-based club had last season, Yorke feels they are in a much better overall position than Tottenham. He is confident that his former club will finish above Postecoglou’s men.
