Cracking stuff from @NathanAClark which I commend to the house.

Of course, it was Pochettino’s instruction we witnessed, but it was implemented with aplomb by Christian Eriksen.

The Dane took over from Winks to crackle a supercharged version of the Englishman’s performance, one that continued the pressing, but added far more purpose to our game.

Winks in fairness, would also have been better playing a deeper role.

What is also of note here, is that Poch needs not to fear the obvious. Pulling Sissoko and NDombele together made them a more effective unit.

A 4231 when operating with wing-backs, is far more effective than the 433/4312.
