The Tottenham fans weakness is enabling ENIC

By Bruce Grove -

If there is one thing that this pandemic we are all experiencing has taught us, it is that clubs simply cannot survive long term without the fans.

Ticket sales, merchandise, even beer sales affect the bottom line of clubs and this gives fans the power to make or break a club.

How long would ENIC maintain their ownership of Tottenham if fans did a mass boycott across the board? Not very long I would suggest, they would have little choice but to sell up and quickly.

Of course, it would be mainly non Tottenham fans that would attend concerts, NFL, boxing events and so forth but that is unlikely to be enough to finance the stadium costs, wages etc.

How long would Sky Sports and BT pay over billions if fans were not in the stadium? Again, not for long because that is part of the agreement otherwise why have the Premier League clubs had to reimburse some of the TV money.

Obviously, the other clubs would carry on and get their share but you can take it to the bank that TV would not choose a Tottenham match if there are no fans in the stadium.

So, to force ENIC out the fans would need to boycott the club on every single level but what is the chance of that?

I would say zero and so there you have it, ENIC stays put and rakes the money in because the fans will keep handing over their hard earned cash.

Whatever way we look at it, it is us fans that are enabling ENIC, whether you agree with their actions or not.

Some of them man are stuck in the past. Clueless. It’s all the hate they have in them. Stops them from seeing what’s going on. Can’t take them seriously. They can’t even see what the people they hate have done to them

Rinsing probably isn’t the right word, but it’s difficult to imagine ENIC having made worse mistakes

He couldn’t really back Poch because he had p***ed our money up the wall with his ridiculously extravagant stadium.

Man trying to make out levy is rinsing tottenham. Penny pinching (when we were broke) for his own personal gain. It’s Joe and his club. His wages and his bonuses are his business. My club are fine. People trying to make out tottenham are hopeless. Judging levy from the old lane. They need to keep up.

If Spurs fans were that successfully united in challenging and dismissing a corporate powerhouse like ENIC, how attractive do you imagine that would make THFC to potential investors?

How does levy benefit? He gets a wage. Revenues will not be drying up. He wants as much money up front? Not he” tottenham do. Struth.

Levy will continue to benefit from fans’ gullibility until the revenues starts to dry up.Then there will be a new approach dreamed up by the PR department to tempt them, whilst actually putting nothing into the club.He wants as money as possible up front and people ae happy to provide this largese.

This is how he operates,it’s amazing how so many are fooled by this. Why would people commit to season tickets with no guarantees about crowds returning and no investment ina sadly declining squad.

Spurs fans should boycott all merchandise and tickets until some proper investment is put into the team. The source of all our woes today were the two transfer windows under Poch when Levy didn’t spend a miserly penny. How can he not see that? We were up there and breaking through, we had a top manager and a winning team that just needed a few tweaks to go to the top and stay there. Then Levy, who allegedly is a Spurs fan, ruined it for everyone, fans and players alike, by reverting to his scrooge like, arrogant little fool self. I don’t expect he’d admit it though, his type never do, they always think they know best.

‘Yeah but it’s okay the stadium delays because we’ve the longest bar’ with that mind set by some parts (even large chunks) of the fan base Enic know they are safe.

If the team isn’t overhauled with CLASS replacements it is time for the fans to boycott games and get rid of ENIC once and for all.
