Harry Kane is one of the leading figures at Tottenham and as far as leading by example goes, there are a few players who can do that better than the striker.
He has helped Spurs remain competitive in the Premier League with goals and assists, but his efforts haven’t yielded trophies yet.
Spurs have made Jose Mourinho their latest manager and they expect his appointment to help them end their wait for a trophy, but would you believe Kane has a hand in why Spurs hasn’t won trophies?
That is what legendary Italian manager, Arrigo Sacchi thinks as he spoke with Mail Sport.
He admitted that Kane is a talented footballer, but questioned his personality as a leader who could lead a team to trophies.
He then adds that Tottenham isn’t title contenders.
‘He is definitely a great footballer, but I’m not sure if he has a great personality,’ Sacch told Sportsmail.
‘It doesn’t seem to me that Tottenham has ever been a protagonist to win’.
This is a damning verdict for a player that many consider being one of the best in the world.
Spurs fans are banking on him to help them end their trophy drought this season. He now has one critic to prove wrong by doing just that.
thats a big offense for mushrooms
What? Get a grip. Danny Rose, whose attitude to football has him training with the U23s with no squad number? That Danny Rose? Really? Are you on mushrooms?
PEH is the de facto Captain.
Has anyone ever considered Kane to be a leader? The captain of our team is the goalkeeper for crying out loud; does this opinion surprise anyone? The best leaders tend to be midfielders or centre backs from what I can tell. Rose would make a better leader than Kane, god forbid.
