The next Tottenham manager must do this one big thing

Tottenham has a lot of tradition and history, it is known for many things including playing entertaining football or as it is affectionally known, the Tottenham way.

Another Tottenham tradition is blooding young players, it was done on a regular basis under Mauricio Pochettino and for the most part, it paid off.

There was a time when Spurs had the youngest team in the Premier League, that is no longer the case.

You cannot just throw youngsters into the mix for the sake of it but neither should they be ignored completely.

Look at all of the other big six clubs, each and every one of them has youngsters in their sides, Mason Greenwood, Bukayo Saka, Phil Foden, Mason Mount and so on.

Tottenham do have youngsters and on occasions, they do feature but nowhere near enough and whoever the new manager is, he needs to get back to that.

Oliver Skipp looks special and has had a brilliant season with Norwich City, Ryan Sessegnon could be something special as well and there are others, not least of all Japhet Tanganga.

When you have the senior players failing on a consistent basis, then why not give the kids an opportunity to shine, they will at least be enthusiastic and will give everything.

It is what Tottenham has been known for and we should get back to what worked so well in the past.
