“The mentality of the modern fan is grim” “…the brainwashing” These Fans Aren’t ENIC Fans

By The Boy -

I unashamedly blame millennials. Any discussion is completely null and void the moment context is abandoned. When Woodgate scored I went nuts, and here we pause the tape. Ajax away in ‘that’ Champions League game was crazy, but we’d not played brilliantly and so the goals from Lucas Moura were atypical. That was confirmed in the final which was utterly awful.

In that final, Spurs were absolutely not favourites – but we fought and we turned it on. My brother by another mother Teemu Taino messed with Didier Drogba. Since that great highpoint, we’ve been steadily fed a deeply disturbing narrative from context-free people that everything is groovy.

We have even had to sit through Pochettino telling us that winning domestic silverware was self-indulgent.

ENIC are up to their undercrackers in debt, and I am genuinely struggling to see a way back from the direction of travel they embarked upon; one that cost us a billion-plus.

Totally agree. League title should be the main aim for the club , not once but on a regular basis. Cups thrown in on the way , early 70s & 80s 4 cup finals in as many years. Only losing late to the best Liverpool team & total football Feyenoord with an aging team. Winning 6. Steve P in all of them. On stadium tour , guide gave guff about C lge , didnt mention League title. I did it for him. It shows mentality of club under ENIC

Anyone called ENIC OUT is ok with me but they dont have a right to tell me what is right for the club.
I want the PL nothing else.
Any pots along the way more than welcome and good clubs pick up a few along the way but give me a League title thats all I want and I know I wont get it with NICE/

Well said.. We were unlucky not to defend that title too, only losing the final in 2009 on penalties to Manure who had Ronaldo.. We had a better squad then I would say.

I thought ENIC had worked it so that the debt was on THFC,which makes them even worse.Levy has a lot to answer for.

*War criminal Tony Blair is somehow influencing the government on vax passports. Concerning comments from an MP on the eroding of the libertarian base of the party. Why are these unelected rats piping up?They are still trying to push this passport tyranny. Breaks the Nuremberg code and Human rights articles.

The problem is now the money men who run the game have made damn sure that they’ve cheapened the domestic cups and sucked the life out of them so it breeds more of this nonsense top 4 priority mind set(mind control). They’ve chipped away at the FA cup now it’s a shadow of itself and the league cup is such a joke now that winning this year’s is barely an achievement. You get this fixture pile up guff but I’m sure if the players could cope when I was growing up with a squad of 13 odd and up against the elements, bad pitches and proper hard competetive physicality, the over paid waifs can cope with it today. 2legs semi finals in the LC, replays, all part of the magic. Changing the sponser every year is another way it’s cheapened.

Oh for the heady days of winning a cup final. Going to ones great, winning ones better. And there in lies the problem. Too many Spurs fans have experienced neither so the top 4 thing, just like it is for that lot in Woolwich is all they have to hang onto.
