By The Boy -

Here’s tonight’s starting XI… Gazzaniga, Tanganga, Sanchez, Vertonghen (C), Sessegnon, Dier, Winks, Lo Celso, Eriksen, Lamela, Lucas.

And here’s my punt…

Good luck!

This blog has always been very critical of ENIC, which to me is sensible. All opinions welcome but blind optimism isn’t going to change anyone’s mind on here. Actions speak louder than words, if ENIC begin behaving like they actually want success on the pitch then people will lay off…

There are many other blogs that aren’t so down on ENIC, you could always check those out if we’re doing your nut in?

All the spurs hotels for the rich will be up by then (more money) with the queen Elizabeth line flowing through nicely to the what will be the wonderful Tottenham Hale village. Another jewel in Haringey and Tottenhams crown. Future is very bright. They can’t get me out😁

We all know the German man’s definition of an idiot. Revisiting history over and over again and expecting different results is bloody stupid. Football is fluid. There’s no same thing over and over again. Levy has made the same mistakes over and over. These mistakes gonna benefit TOTTENHAM in the future. Let’s think ten years time when we are winning cups everywhere with money coming out of our @r$€ no club is gonna try take advantag€ of us. Players gonna want to come to TOTTENHAM London (that’s most the battle won) it will be how nice we want to be to these broke clubs😂😂😂😂😂😂

I don’t call people names. If they can make a tangible point that stacks up then fair enough. If they can’t, that’s not my problem. What might look like ‘belittlement’ by me to you is probably someone doing it to themselves…

Perhaps with a Dier it’s a question of building him back up. Whatever illness he had seems to have left him sluggish and a bit heavy. I guess the management need to make a call?

As for Winks (and Dier to an extent)I feel he worked well when he first got into the side under Poch’s methods. Since we stopped pressing as we used to his game has suffered, plus he has an ongoing injury issue.

Not sure Jose’s methods are conducive to reviving either player’s form, especially as midfielders. He likes his midfielders to sit and make the odd burst forward rather than pressing as a unit.

I think this will be the new deal for all players, takes the money away from them and their agents and hands it back to the clubs. If you don’t perform up to standard you go home.

We wont get any of those above, plus Ake is younger and with PL experience. Not that I would take him over Koulibaly or Umiti, he would be cheaper though. I would take him over Varane. Watched him a few times and not convinced, with the pace of the league he will be booked more games than he is not

English winks. Small fortune. KWP £10mil. England Skippy £20mii one day maybe. Plus a few other bits and bobs = the grand total of the stadium nearly. It’s all good

I don’t think Jose wants to put too much responsibility on Parrot. Leading the line when the rest of the team is not settled is a big ask. Look at Sess who is much more experienced and he is feeling the pressure. He’ll get his chances.

Can’t figure whether Jose is playing Eriksen because the squad is so thin and he wants to just milk minutes out of him before he goes, in order to rest others; or if he’s decided that even a half-arsed Eriksen plays rings around someone like Skipp.

Someone needs to pull Sessegnon to the side and tell him to stop being overly cautious and just play the game. He looks frightened out there, scared out of his mind that he’ll make a mistake. Any activity, you usually play best when you’re not thinking at all, just reacting and performing. He’s thinking, and he’s afraid, sort it out Jose!
