Surreal: 7 Injuries Ahead Of City Clash

By The Boy -

Best training facility in the world.

That is, unless you’ve seen virtually anyone else’s facilities, or you understand that there’s more to life that brick, metal and glass.

The injuries at Spurs this season haven’t just been down to an overworked squad because we didn’t buy anyone in two back to back transfer windows… there’s an issue getting players out of Hotspur Way in one piece.

Erik Lamsla has failed to make a meaningful recovery from whatever the fairy tale was about him. Vincent Janssen would appear to have managed to injured himself by simply by being in the same post code as the Investec co-venture.

Following assessment over the past two days, we can confirm that Harry Kane has sustained a significant lateral ligament injury to his left ankle following a challenge in our Champions League quarter-final, first leg win against Manchester City.

Investigations are ongoing and he will continue to be assessed by our medical staff over the coming week.

Now Harry Winks is confirmed as out of action again.

Physioroom say that Winks, Llorente, Kane, Dier, Alli*, Lamela* and Aurier are all injured.

Yeah but he’d never played and failed in the French league so he was off our radar. He’s a good player week in week out and a great player very often. But no, he couldn’t have done a job for us, or Madison or…etc etc

Watched the extended highlights of the Ajax game this afternoon and they looked very tasty. The only criticism I would have is their choosing the wrong option when in front of goal. However they are very quick on the counter and whoever they get in the semis they’ll know they’re in a game.

Obviously Southampton let Tadic go because he was oo good for them.I think Ajax picked him up for about 8M.I said before he left he would do a good job for us especially at the price. What do I know.

Shame about Winks in particular. Can see Alli making a cameo prancing about in a hand cast. Lamela I just give up with now, what’s wrong with the bloke?

Score an away goal and fair enough if City beat us – we’ve kept them honest scoring 3+ against us at home. I’ll be heartbroken if we don’t manage to score at least one tonight.

I dunno I kind of respect the fact that Ronaldo went to Juve to win trophies when he could easily have headed off to China or the MLS to sit in his armchair and earn millions more. Ok so Juve’s punt to bring home the CL hasn’t quite worked out this time around but Ronaldo has been a huge success on and off the pitch. The €100m transfer fee has been repaid 10 fold. I’d love it if our chairman showed the same audacity every now and again.

On Ajax they are a lovely team to watch and have some tasty players. Unfortunately for them their team will most likely be pillaged during the summer and unfortunately for us their value has probably soared well beyond our Daniels ceiling of €25m.

Any broken bone no matter how small is a fucker for the body and mind to deal with. It just fucks with you. I don’t think he should play with that sort of injury.

Dele to score then

Injured himself getting off the treatment table after a fitness test. How unlucky is that?

He should be okay – if he can harden up. Might put an end to the silly handshakes for a while so not all bad news. Did it happen last week against the Mancs or was it some girl’s boyfriend? Looked like he had wankers cramp they way he was holding it.

Very pleased for Ajax knocking off CR7 and his cohorts. A bit of a dark horse methnks for the finals. This is a club that has a scouting network and academy that actually works. Not bad for a club with an annual revenue of 20 million euros less than what Juve paid for Ronaldo. Question is could they overcome City over two legs? They are probably hoping they get us.

Will we beat the Blue Mancs tonight? On paper they have the capability to tear us several new ones. I guess we will have to wait and see what UEFA has ordained. Will Porto be able to rain on Klopp’s parade? (let’s hope so) but probably won’t..

Dele has broken 2 seperate bones in his hand. I couldn’t even run without pain when I had a hairline fracture of thumbs and fingers from cricket. I think he’ll be a liability if he plays
